Guide to Pittsburgh
Set in industrial Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh was once the home of the US steel industry, though this has since declined with global competition, so that many people have had to reskill, with technology being the biggest industrial sector here now. The city’s football team retains the original name of the Steelers though, and it is certain that this heritage will not be forgotten.
It is not one of the country’s main tourist destinations unsurprisingly, instead being more popular for visitors travelling on business or to visit family members. However anyone coming to the city is guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome.
